WHO WE ARE

Delivering cutting-edge science to the communities that need it most

Life Clinical Research is a dedicated clinical research organisation with sites in Ipswich and East Brisbane, QLD. We conduct phase 2–4 trials across cardiology, rheumatology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, psychiatry, and primary care — delivering cutting-edge science and investigational therapies directly to the communities that need them most.

Founded in 2023, Life Clinical Research has grown rapidly into a multidisciplinary team of investigators, specialists, and research professionals with training across some of the world's leading institutions — including Harvard Medical School, King's College Hospital London, and the University of Birmingham. Our team includes a Clinical Director at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow, and investigators actively affiliated with QIMR Berghofer.

Our Ipswich site is co-located with the Ipswich Cardiac Centre, offering on-site cardiac assessments including echocardiography, exercise stress testing, Holter monitoring, and 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Our East Brisbane site operates alongside Q Cardiology, extending the same standard of specialist-integrated research care to patients across Brisbane's inner south-east. Both sites maintain established links with nearby radiology providers for x-ray, CT, and MRI services, and support in-person, virtual, and remote trial participation for local and distant patients alike.

"

Being part of a trial meant I had access to a treatment my doctor couldn't yet prescribe. The care I received was exceptional.

The research nurses were always available to answer my questions. It felt nothing like I imagined - very professional and very human.
